1. Create a free profile at http://rmbrME.com and verify your mobile phone. Connect your favorite social networks to your profile so that people can add you with a single click.

2. When you meet someone new, just get their mobile number or email address and text it to 762763 (RMBRME on your keypad)

3. They'll receive a code that unlocks your profile, and they can add you on Facebook, MySpace, Linkedin, etc. with just a single click.

You don't need to download software, subscribe to the service, know your friend's network or waste paper. You simply send an text message, and we do the rest. Whether you're a personal or business user, rmbrME offers you a unique and powerful tool to keep in touch. Better.

How much does rmbrME cost?

There is no charge to set up a profile and link to your social network accounts. Depending on your usage level and mobile rate plan, you may not incur any additional costs to get the power of rmbrME!

In order to use rmbrME, you’ll need to have an SMS capable phone, and all text messages are charged at your mobile carrier’s current rates based on your individual rate plan. Additionally, rmbrME charges:

  • Receiving a rmbrME: No charge.
  • Sending a rmbrME (to an email address): No charge.
  • Sending a rmbrME (to a mobile phone): No charge for the first 30 days. After the introductory period, each profile you send is $0.49, billed directly to your mobile phone. No credit cards are required. You will have a chance to confirm this charge before sending.

How does rmbrME work?

  5. And don't forget to add rmbrME (762763) to your address book to make it easier to use

Which social networks can be used with rmbrME?

rmbrME works with any social network that can provide you with a profile URL. That is – where your profile can be linked from a web address – either copied from your browser window, or found listed somewhere on the site. Most websites give you this option, from the straightforward (MySpace) to the slightly more convoluted (Friendster) and everything in between. We don’t tell you which social network to use, but you can even use things like your blog or Flickr account.

You sure can! Just send a message to RMBRME (762763) with STOP or END or UNSUBSCRIBE, and we’ll stop sending you messages until you ask for one to be sent next.

If I give someone my contact information, will they automatically be able to contact me?

If you give someone your phone number or email address, you can expect them to use it. But with rmbrME, you get the power to turn a simple phone number or email address directly into a profile link on the world’s top social networks. It’s like sending someone an interactive business card.
